BAGSS NEWS
by Thomas MacDonald Kamanga
Hello once again! I hope Scotland is quite fine. Zoe told me that you are noo in winter season, and I can imagine how cold it is there. If I were in Scotland I honestly would buy my thick coats to protect me from the cold. In contrast, Malawi is gey hot. We are no longer using our blankets. We sleep without covering ourselves at night.
Once again it is braw to communicate on this rerr website. We had a wee but painful problem with our internet connection recently. I am sure ama Kafupi might have told you about the problem. The problem is noo history. I pray thon we dont have problem again.
I tried to post an article on this site. Unfortunately, the article did not show all the information I wrote. A lot of information disappeared. This was due to the fact that I did not understand some terminology on the write-a-new-post page. I had to ask ama Kafupi for help. You ken this technology is very new here.
A lot has happened at BAGSS. Recently, to begin with, we received gifts from FHS and MM Fund. The gifts included chairs, desks, lab equipment, hot plates just to mention a few. Both pupils and teachers were all smiles. We are planning to send pictures showing girls happy with the braw gifts. Your sending of gifts is a clear manifestation of your love that you shower on BAGSS. The headteacher has already written FHS rector to officially thank the FHS community. May Dod continue to bless you.
We had a graduation ceremony for the Form 4s on 4th Octobeber at Chintheche in. A lot people including politicians were invited. Girls enjoyed it. We also think of posting their pictures on the site. However, that will depend on your help- we shall need instructions to follow when loading up pictures.
The school closed on 7th November for twa month holiday. Pupils will be back on 3rd January, 2009. Meanwhile, teachers are marking the pupils scripts. The school is completely deserted like church on wick days.
The school is missing the students and colleagues who visted us in July. They were our source of inspiration. I am happy that their hurl back tae Scotland was gey rerr.
I will write again.
